Chico's to Expand in Winder, Adding Jobs

WINDER, Ga. -- Women's fashion retailer Chico's is expanding operations in Metro Atlanta, bringing 189 new jobs over the next three years, the office of Governor Sonny Perdue announced Wednesday.

Chico's purchased a 300,000 square-foot facility formerly known as the Hagemeyer Building on Barrow Industrial Boulevard to accommodate the expansion, the Governor's office said.

The new facility will serve as a distribution center for Chico's.

Employment opportunities will be posted on Chico's website, Chicos.com.
