Susan Nethero is nationally known as "the bra whisperer." She is founder and owner of "Intimacy" a lingerie boutique that specializes in properly fitting women's bras. At our request, Susan wore a black bra with her red dress to demonstrate how the product works "So that we would show a good before and after example" Susan said.
She sells a product like Strap Perfect called Embrace, so she is familiar with how it works. It's a pretty simple concept. After loosening the straps of the offending bra, you use a small plastic disk to pull the straps together. By moving the disk up and down your back you can adjust the straps to conceal them behind your top. After attaching and adjusting the disk, Susan's bra straps were out of sight, "it really works!" Susan said.
The Embrace disk costs $8.50 for one. We paid $25 for the Strap Perfect but it came with 6 disks - 2 clear, 2 nude and 2 black. Susan says to save money you probably don't need that many disks. "You really don't need the alternate colors. You don't see it." Susan explained, "Clear is the best."
