Two University of Georgia football players have been arrested and jailed on charges of simple battery.

Uga VI, mascot for Georgia football teams that won six bowl games among 87 victories over a nine-year span, was interred at the university's football stadium on Monday.

Uga VI, who had represented the University of Georgia as the football team's mascot since 1999, will be buried Monday at the stadium where he was often the center of attention.

Uga VI, the winningest mascot in the University of Georgia's history, died on Friday from congestive heart failure.
