the last-place Nationals 3-1 Wednesday night.

Wes Helms hit a bases-loaded RBI single with none out in the 11th inning Sunday, and the Florida Marlins earned their fourth walkoff win of the week, beating the Atlanta Braves 5-4.

Tim Hudson dominated San Diego again, Alex Gonzalez capped his first homestand in Atlanta with four hits and the Braves beat the Padres 8-0.

Atlanta reliever Billy Wagner blew a two-run lead in the ninth inning, and pinch-hitter Nick Hundley's two-run double in the 12th lifted the San Diego Padres to a 6-4 victory over the Braves in a matchup of division leaders.
